We provide a staffed reception during the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4:30pm on Friday. This service includes message taking and call forwarding as well as meeting and greeting your clients and visitors.
The meeting room is available to use by Licensees, Virtual Members and external companies. The room is charged at an hourly rate which includes WIFI, TV monitor, conference facilities and refreshments.
Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is responsible for insuring the building and communal public areas. The certificate of employer’s liability insurance is displayed in the kitchens and post room.
Connectivity is available within each private office via hard-wired Cat6 ports with no ongoing monthly fee. We offer a range of additional services such as, Network space rental, dedicated external Ip address (licensees only), upgraded broadband. WIFI is available in reception, meeting room, business lounge and co-working suite.
The reception team will manage and sort Royal Mail deliveries daily and distribute to the relevant businesses. Courier deliveries can be signed for by the HatTech team upon the licensees instruction and stored securely within the post room until collected by the end of the working day. The HatTech team can also frank your outgoing post. The post room is secured outside of HatTech’s reception hours.
To the side of the building there is a sloped area providing easy access for deliveries to be made and collected.
Access via a photo ID access card, in conjunction with your membership level or private office licence. The entrance doors and internal communal areas are monitored by CCTV and security patrols are carried out, outside of normal business hours.
Lift, for the use and convenience of everyone or as an aid to move heavy goods from the ground floor to first floor.
Allocated parking is assigned to private offices and Diamond Co-Working Members. Additional free parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis within the HatTech car park. Accessible parking is available at the lift entrance.

Meet and greet your clients or fellow HatTech members in our Business Lounge, where you can eat your lunch, and have a coffee from the collaboration bar. This is a more relaxed setting to hold that 1:2:1 meeting or just enjoy the time away from your desk.
We are fortunate to be able to provide an outdoor space within the courtyard of the first floor of our business centre. We promote this as a digital detox space away from your desk. “Mental Health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community” World Health Organisation.The Wellbeing Garden can be privately hired for gatherings and functions for up to a maximum of 30 people, please speak to the Business Centre’s Manager for more details.
Our virtual office membership is available for businesses of all sizes and ideal for those businesses who require satellite office facilities or for those who are out on the road and not readily available to receive telephone calls. Messages can be emailed and post forwarded by the arrangement or safely stored in a post locker.
A table tennis table and foosball table have been provided to encourage the business community and networking opportunities or simply for your relaxation and enjoyment. You could even use the gaming tables for team building and friendly competitions.
