We are fortunate to be able to provide an outdoor space within the courtyard of the first floor of our business centre. This outdoor space has been created to provide a Wellbeing Garden to aid your mental wellbeing and help you to find that digital-free space during your working day. This creative and comfortable space provides the opportunity for mindfulness, contemplation and meditation.
Enjoy this calm, relaxing environment. Studies have shown that gardening or just being in a pleasant garden has extensive health benefits. Taking time out of your busy day to just sit and observe nature in the garden can reduce mental problems like depression and anxiety. It can also combat stress and high blood pressure.
When “I” is replaced by “we” even illness becomes Wellness.
Health is a state of body, Wellness is a state of being.
“Mental Health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community” World Health Organisation.
The Wellbeing Garden can be privately hired for gatherings and functions for up to a maximum of 30 people, please speak to the Business Centre’s Manager for more details.
